Class popularity across realms Taken from this thread in the b.net forums: http://www.battle.net/forums/thread.aspx?fn=d2-general&t=1261624&p=1&#post1261624 These figures are based on the exp required to rank on each class ladder. Code: Europe UsEast UsWest Asia Asia2 Asia3 1st Pal Pal Pal Sor Sor Sor 2nd Sor Sor Sor Pal Pal Pal 3rd Ama Ama Ama Nec Ama Bar 4th Nec Bar Nec Bar Bar Nec 5th Asn Nec Asn Ama Nec Ama 6th Bar Asn Bar Asn Asn Asn 7th Dru Dru Dru Dru Dru Dru I find this very interesting. West and Europe are the same, but East is the odd man out? Wazupwidat? I wonder why there's such a difference in play style between West and East. Are there a lot of Asian players on West? If so, why is Europe just like West? What does this say about the differences of culture between West North America and East North America? I also find it funny that Asia loves sorcs so much compared to the rest of the world. Poor druid is last everywhere, ouch. The assassin doesn't fare much better. Why is it so hard to make new character classes that don't (comparatively) stink/offer something new? Barbs have the largest difference in popularity across realms, 6th in West/Europe, and 3rd in Asia3.
