class ideas: ways to mix up the ranger/archer

what about an archer-based character that also used close quarters light swords. It'd be like, a "weapons specialist" or "manhunter."

it would focus mostly on archery ("archery tree"), but have lot's of quick blade skills that push back monsters when they get too close or debilitate them in some way. not sure what the 3rd tree would be, maybe passive skills like in d2, but call it, like "navy seal training skills." haha.

you could even mix some sneakiness into the "blademaster" tree and give a "backstab" type skill.

It'd be pretty sweet to equip a bow/xbow and a light blade of some sort simultaneously and be able to use blade and bow skills without switching weapons.

...Thoughts?
feel free to put out other suggestions or ideas.

hmm, Archer, short swords.. LEGELOS!!!!!!!

been done, any charecter in Diablo thus far has been confirmed, atleast I think I know the WD could, use all the weapons, except obviously class specific weapons. But this has also been sudgested on another post, the Cavalier

A bow and dual swords seems very rangery to me. certainly if you implement a nature based 3rd skill (possibly with sneak elements).

P.S. bow and crossbow are two handed. Unless you want to implement one handed crossbows, yet I'm not sure we want a one handed crossbow as our main ranged character.

'Gangsta Class'

Specialises in using a pair of mini-crossbows - held side-on.
