The grand finale is only a day away!!!!

Which team will win the most important title of the year?

    Liverpool or AC Milan?

All depends on one thing. Liverpools Consistancy.

So far they have played well in the games they have had in the Champions League unlike in domestic competitions.

Defence and Midfield will be Vital if Liverpool want to get anything out of the game.

Although if AC play like they did against PSV then they will be in trouble.

Yep, if Liverpool is able to play like they did in the semi's.....beating Chelsea isn't easy!

But I still think Italians are the most dangerous side to play against; look at PSV, they played like hell but still lost.

I'm afraid Liverpool will meet a similar faith....

*sigh* Damn! I'm too late on the poll again, and again there's not enough options! There needs to be 6 options...

    Liv win FT
    AC win FT
    Liv win ET
    AC win ET
    Liv win PENs
    AC win PENs

    Oh well....

AC threw away the Italian League and let 3 goals in in the process. Shows there are weaknesses in their defence which the likes of Cisse, Gerrard and Garcia will exploit. I think if we hold our shape and dont let them get a goal early on then Liverpool will win this.

I'm predicting 1-0 to Liverpool and the scorer to be Garcia.

    I sure hope so!

Yes, I could have added those options......

I don't think it will come down to penalties this time though. I've seen enough of them this season! Damned Lehmann!

    Liverpool will win :D

But seriously, AC's "impenetrable" defence showed against PSV that it can be pulled apart. PSV missed chances on BOTH of those games that any champ league team should put away, they were piss easy.

PSV showed that pace and not being afraid to run with the ball will throw the big/old men in their defence. Thankfully we'll have Cisse (I happily say goodbye to Baros this summer).

Milan are also a tired team. I think Liverpool will have more energy because they never expended any during the league  . this is what they've been building themselves up for. Milan have also conceeded alot of goals over the last few weeks.

I imagine you'll see an outstanding Liverpool performance with goals from Cisse and Kewell/Garcia. (Don't know why ... I've just gotta a feeling about Kewell this time).

    Reply to Knightfall:

I'm dutch, (so) I'm a big fan of van Nistelrooij and (especially) Bergkamp.

(I hate van Persie though; he messed up at my club Feyenoord and now that he's with Arsenal he shows what he's really made of, the idiot!)

Saturday I didn't really care.... but after 120 minutes I definitely thougth Man U deserved to win. And if a German guy claims the glory....... well, lets say I wasn't too happy!

I have to agree with you, some good points there. :)

But I doubt that Kewell will play (from the start at least).
It will be just like against Chelsea except for Baros :
    Dudek
    Finnan Carragher Hyppia Traore
    Garcia Alonso Gerrard Hamman Riise
    Cisse

And that explains it David. ;)

Dudek...... another good reason to support Liverpool tomorrow!

He played a couple of great seasons for Feyenoord!

it would be nice if liverpool wins, but AC just has better players

Comparision(im dutch so dont know exact spelling :))
    defense:
AC=stam, cafu, nesta, maldini and even the subs(kaladze and colochini are awesome)
liverpool= biscan and hyppia are the only good ones i can remember

    midfield
AC= kaka, seedorf, pirlo, gattuso(rui costa on bench)
    liverpool= gerrard, hamman, rise(also defender i guess)

    offense
    AC=crespo, schevchenko
    Liverpool= luis garcia, barros

    u see the difference dont u ?

ps: fill me in on some liverpool players, dont know em all :)

Yeah like I said here's the team (likely).
In your comparison the players for Liverpool I'd say were the ones in BOLD.

    Dudek
    Finnan Carragher Hyppia Traore
    Garcia Alonso Gerrard Hamman Riise
    Cisse

AC's defence are old and therefore slower than most of Liverpools attackers. I agree they are brilliant players, dont get me wrong.

AC's strikers are what we need to worry about but in our campaign this season the partnership of Charrager and Hyypia is what has got us here.

Player for player Milan has a better team than Liverpool...but Milan haven't played very well for the last couple of matches so I don't really know...

I just think it would be a shame if the champions league winner was a team that ended 5th in their league...If you can't beat Everton over a whole season you are definitely not the best team in Europe...

It already happened to Real Madrid.

Carragher will take care of Schevchenko.

Watch out for stam, it's gonna be his mistake that create the golden oppertunity!!

Carragher's had a blinder this season but shevvy has been topshot in Europe for too long to be snuffed out just like that.

Liverpool don't have the quality to take it. They barely scraped past Chelsea (the jury's still out on whether it was a goal or not, camera replays dont seem to help) and have just not competed domestically at all - losing to man city, oh man :D

Milan may not have won the title but they did seriously challenge and their record in europe has ALWAYs been consistent. They did scrape past PSV last round but again you can't rule them out just like that.

    Milan 2 - 0 liverpool

3 nil at half, ac. they;ve already put away half as many goals as liverpool have allowed throughout the tourney.
