CK Boots + Max dmg Jewels

Hi,

I wanna make a charger pk'er with cleglaws sword and BSoD. Rest of my gear will be:

max dmg helm (mask or crown)
max dmg breastplate
Death's sash +gloves
Angelic amu + 2x ring

And cow kings boots,

Best place to find jewels is normal cows? and does mf help?

and can cow kings boots drop from hell bovines or only from king? trading for these is a pain, nobody seems to have them :S (Europe Realm)

I'd reccomend NOT using a BSOD, its a nice shield, but for a charger, a 4 socket shield with "built in" 50+ ED is best, with 4 max jewels in that.

As for CK boots, any hell bovine can drop them, i belive its a 1/6th chance of set heavy boots will be CK, so you had best get going ;) I did 50 normal Cow King (king only) runs with ~100-150 mf, and didnt get even any set heavy boots, then I gave up and traded for them :)

As for the jewels.. what level will you be? Normal cows do drop both wrath and carnage jewels fairly well, though I find andy to be better for wraths, and travincal for carnages (kill counsil over and over, ad nauseam)



Edit: Dont use deaths gloves. As a charger, you wont need 30% ias for anything, the best bonus of the combo, use deaths sash+bloodfists (life and fhr)

Well, that's one of my problems as well. I don't know what lvl I want to be. I found one carnage (15 max dmg) which is lvl 18 req and a lc with 20 life which is 19, but isn't 19 a little high?

And for the pala shield, what shield would u recommend? and should i go for max block with the pala shield as well?

yes, max block with either shield.

I would reccomend going to level 18 and using carnage jewels, and a 4 socket heraldric shield with 65% ed (ideally)

Hmmz,

I'll try the cleglaws gloves too, still no luck on cow kings boots though. Trading is f***ing expensive, someone wanted an um rune for them :S

Well, if i don't find i pair soon i'll be frustrated enough to give an um rune for em :D just like matt said before

Just traded boots for um rune, can a 4 sock heraldric shield with 65 ed drop on normal or do I have to try on hell? A 3 sock mask can only drop on hell right?

I think they can drop in nightmare or hell, but its probably best to try in hell, or maybe nightmare cows, that way if you find a plain one with no sockets but good ed, you can socket quest it and get 4 with it. If youre on east, i have one with 48% ed which will get 4 sockets you can have free...

3 socket mask should drop in nm or hell, same as the shield.

I'd recommend using and Aerin shield if over a heraldic if you can get it just for the slightly better block.

Also for pk I'd go with cleg's gloves for the +max, +ar, knockback and slow.. not that this build needs it vs a pvm character, but you never know...

Bloodfists are really good if you're going toe-to-toe in a duel where the fhr and life start to matter against other strong builds.

Yeah, good call on the aerin shield, I;m a bit rusty on which shield has which block, youre absolutly right.
