That was Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers

Duck Tails revolved around "Uncle" Scrooge and his three nephews. And his niece.

Occasionally Launchpad McQuack, Gizmo Duck, and Donald Duck would make appearances.

Mouse - Gadget
Old Mouse - Monterey Jack
And whatever the hell the fly's name was.
ah ty, for the clarification.

ya i recognize chip n dale rescue rangers with the girl mouse mechanic (i'm embarrased to admit it, but at the time i liked her)

ah so that's duck tales.

i actually never saw any tv series called this... i don't think anyways..

but they made a duck tales movie, where it's uncle scrooge with a magic lamp...very similiar to disney's aladdin movie. actually it was way before there was disney's aladdin movie.

i really liked this movie. it was actually quite dark at the time. the bad guy was pretty evil and he transformed the land into this really dark evil castle. quite dark themed for when it was made.

zipper, i think.

i remember they made a snes or nes video game of chip n dale rescue rangers. remember playing it.....now that my memory "juices" are flowing.

"Duck Tails" lol

Chip n' dale score a high one for team composition. Very few disney cartoons actually have roles of sexy ladies like the mechanic Pearl plus you have the wild fly, the cheesomaniac, the doofus and the plot maker. Kinda similar to A-team maybe? ^_^

Ducktales was a wild trend maker with lots of creativity and good OP. The treasure hunting computer game, that I guess is abandonware today, rocks unexpectedly much! Many people have only tried the incredibly sucky platform games for NES etc, but those are real shallow. luvluv for Gizmo quack as well, when on the subject.

Anything where David Jason did the voices. I think my favourite was Duckula.

Transformers, He-Man and She-Ra, Battle of the Planets, Astroboy, Speed Racer, various Looney Tunes specials and compilations, Heckle & Jeckle, M.A.S.K., Voltron, TMNT, heaps of others.

Animaniacs!
I could've sworn you were older than that.

Actually, maybe this explains some things.

I always disliked Tom and Jerry because it made the rodent the hero, and the house cat was the villain.
So... you hate all cartoons?

I was born in 86 so I've seen most of the ones mentioned here. Did anyone else watch Mighty Max, it seemed awesome back then.

Weird, I've never heard of it but it really seems like I should've.

Hmm, that bird guy's voice seemed familiar, no wonder, he's one of those voice actors who's been in everything. For example Mortanius in Blood Omen.

Mighty Max was indeed awesome when I was a kid. Haven't seen it since so I don't know how it holds up, but I loved it way back when.

I think the toys were better than the cartoon. Ditto M.A.S.K..

Centurions, that was it, I spent an hour last night trying to remember the name of that show. Good toys.

Wish I still had my Voltron... it was only the small one, my parents were cheap, but it was sweet.

Re: childhood cartoon-kid shows

I've kept thinking about this cartoon that I've had a very hard time remembering, but a part of it keeps on comming back in my head, and youtube and google haven't offered anything that made me believe I had found it. I watched it when I was quite young, I think between 5-10 (I'm 21 now).

All I can remember is that it was about some creatures that lived out in the universe on a distant star (which was actually a relative flat planet formed as a star) and something about seahorses.

If anyone remembers anything it would be cool!

Ah, this thread is the reason I'm trying to download M.A.S.K. I've been without my computer for a month and a half and couldn't recall.

I do have the first episode done, but no one's actively seeding anymore :(

*edit* Could it have been Galaxy Rangers?
