chickenhack?

Well, forgive me if talking about maphack is against the rules, they weren't posted in this forum

I was wondering about your experiences with chickenhack in hardcore mode. I recently started playing for the first time since the patch, and died for the same reason I quit the first time - too many trigger pk'ers in hardcore. Only now I'm falling to Sorceresses instead of guided arrows. My two deaths seemed to happen too quickly for a exit-on-hostile hack to work, but I haven't tried it out yet. Speaking of which.... I thought there was supposed to be some sort of hostile delay in 1.10? Oh well maybe it's time to switch to softcore or 'rediscover' morrowind.

It is. The message on top is on every forum, "Please do not post links or information about hacking/warez/cheats. Please read the rules of these forums as we rarely warn before banning."

There is a 10 second delay after you hostile someone, so that you can't use a wp in that delay. However, experienced pk'ers know various tricks around this delay, not to mention hacks.

Please allow me to retort:

Please do not abuse other members in any way. Please do not post links or information about hacking/warez/cheats.
Please read the rules of these forums as we rarely warn before banning.

This message is printed on the top of every page, including the one you are reading right now.

Depends on your browser. I use Safari and it doesn't show up on any page for me.

If your browser doesn't show the entire page, it's your own fault for using such a browser. I don't believe this would be a good excuse to violate the rules.

Don't know what version of Safari you're using, but I've never loaded a page on these forums without seeing it on either of my Macs.

And regardless, it is clearly stated in the rules, which every member of these forums is required to read and follow.

Again, you were required to read the rules when you created your account, and it is very clearly stated there.

And calm down, no one's banning anyone. You're getting warned by fellow site members that talking about this stuff is a quick ticket to bannage, but for relatively new users who ask questions about hacks, leniance seems to be the way its handled. Now, had you linked the site where you downloaded a particular hack or some such thing, you'd have been long gone.

You didn't, and you're still here, so take a deep breath and just make a mental note that this sorta stuff isn't acceptable on these forums for future reference. And perhaps give playing without them a shot one of these days, it's not only possible, its more fun.

I never said it is an excuse. Just pointing out that it doesn't show up in every browser. So eat some twinkies and chill.

I wan't referring to you in particular. I was referring to anyone in general who would attempt to use something like this as an excuse.

Diablo 2 on Battlenet is becomming the land of cheats and hacks.

If you play hardcore - I would password protect all my games and only play with friends that want to play legit.

This way you wont have to put up with all the cheaters BS and you can enjoy the game as it was meant to be :)

Most of us on the forums hate cheats and hacks, so if you need to find a new crew to party with then I would check out the player match up forum.

Player Matchup Forum

Hope that helps - and that u have an enjoyable Hack free B-net environment :)

You just discovered that "zealot" might mean something different than a paladin using the zeal skill. Ignore these guys. If they get abusive, report them - in secret, else this will start a flame war.

Who's the zealot here? Did anyone abuse him in any way? I think not. You are the one starting namecalls.
