The first week of ladder was the BEST time to play ladder, especially since the patch was brand new. Even when/if the ladder resets, it won't be the same. Haven't had that much fun playing D2 since I was a newb.

Whats stopping you from simply starting over again?...why must people always judge their own enjoyment by the standards of what everyone else has accomplished?

You know, lay off it. Its not a hard mistake to make....Crystalline Passage and Ancient Way look *EXACTLY* alike, and it wouldn't be too hard to get them mixed up.

Heck, I even did that myself once (though not in a public game).

Of course because who looks at their minimap right which has the Map Name in the Corner !!

but, sometimes you don't know exactly where they are. maybe they have gotten all the way to anya, in which case you would want a tp. but if they are just starting out, then you might have the wp.
also, alot of time, i will join a nightmare 'act2 staff' game late, and the people have already moved on to act three. so i don't think them asking where are you is a stupid question (unless they are partied and can see where the people are at)

Well in this case, why would someone join a game with the act and quest stated in the name and then ask where everyone is? I did say "join the party and THEN ask"

..I always check the quest status when I enter a game called 'Kill andy' or 'Save anya' or something like that. Saves me the "trouble" of asking what's going on from ppl that most likely won't answer anyway.

I dont think that he is judging the people who like to rush through the game. He is stating how fun it was when everyone was starting over and you had to play through the game because there was no one to rush you. I play ehcl now and there are times when there are only 9 or 10 games to chose from, and most of them are something like "Ber rune Here" or something like that. And it also seems like on hc the only act people actually make public games for is act 1. Which is really sucky when you tring to quest with crappy equipment.

Oh, and I usually rush through norm and nm, but play hell diff. all the way through.
