Charms & Inventory

This doesn't work when you have an iron golem!

You will have to open gomule to remove the item from your cursor in the above scenario otherwise you will be able to do nothing the next game and when you make ANOTHER game the item in the cursor will poof and everything is back to normal
I assume the last part only applies when you run with IG? I do it all the time with my barb.

No cube in the inventory. Open space to the left side of inventory so there's less travel time when moving stuff between inventory and ground, stash, vendor, wherever.

Edit: Like this

For Magic finders or other characters that pick up a lot of stuff, I use fewer charms if they can survive well enough.

I put town portals in my belt, problem solved; you're not going to need 16 potions. Heck you could even use one column for ID scrolls. You're right though - it's rare - but personally and maybe for some others I don't like to end a run early if I don't have to. The only time I'd end a run early is if I die and retrieving my corpse just isn't going to happen (covered in a ridiculous boss pack). Some might just leave regardless to save them time, but I like to continue on if I can.

I personally leave a 4x2 space for items when I do magic find runs as I feel I have enough magic find and good enough equipment to keep them speedy, but there are times when I need more so I just throw down a town portal and ID stuff if necessary (I also tend to pick up a lot of stuff). If it's at the end of a run then yeah, save and quit with the item on your cursor is the way to go. I also leave my cube in my stash, but I can see the benefits of keeping it in your inventory. *shrug*
ID scrolls do not flow to the bottom (or top?) of the belt, so they are a pain to deal with.

My setup is exactly like CDM's except my tombs are to the far left. He has them in the correct order (ID on bottom), so kudos on that.

I didn't know that, but it's an alternative to keeping a tome in your inventory or frequent trips to town. Usually you would only need them in rare cases where you had no space left or something along those lines. Even if you kept 2 of them in one of the columns and then just replenished them as you needed to I think that would suffice.
