Charged Bolt When Hit

Any way to improve all those little items we all get that cast Charged Bolt when you're hit? Or how about the occasional ring that casts Chain Lightning on attack?

Don't quote me on it, but I'm pretty sure learning the synergies for that spell does affect CTC spells. There seems to be a few druid builds based around that so I don't know why it wouldn't work for sorc.

... although I'm less sure about the druids - I haven't played with/investigated them enough to be sure.

How about doing something to increase the level the spell is cast at? Anything we can do about that?

No, you can'tincrease the skill level of ctc.

get a sorc, equip a crescent moon, a 4 light facet monarch, najs circlet, a rare amulet with ctc charged bolt and chain lightning when struck, dual wisp projectors, cow king armor/disciple armor/rare armor with lightning ctc mods.

Then max lightning mastery, nova, charged bolt and then some lightning and chain lightning

Synergies should work on those chance on hit skills.

My guess on this comes from paladins using runewords and synergizing the affects from the RW with other skills. For example, the dreamer get a lvl 30 holy shock and puts 20 hard points in resist lightning to up its damage.
