Getting the runes was easy, getting a half decent set of katars to put it in....near impossible.

Yeps... That is a pretty standard thing. Prepare to pay quite a bit for those mythical +3 LS or +3 Venom GTs or Runics....

yup. with the widespread dupeing of HR's, getting the Hr isn't the problem, but finding a nice shell for 'em is.
