Channel Trading Nearing Impossible By Bots
In two months looking back I must say my final retirement from D2 is attributed to the endless spamming by bots in the channels.
Everytime I log on on the trade channels I have to squelch 7+ bots who spam me privately advertising the reduced prices and discounts on computer generated pixels. I cannot comprehend the trouble these guys are willing to go for something as useless as this. People are not likely to purchase items for real money in an outdated game like this. Suffice to say the majority of people playing this game at this point are veterans who have enough means to acquire any items in the game. Even one who is considering purchasing virtue item, why would he incline to purchase through those venues -- the intrusive idiots that endless spam advertisement in the channel.
In the end, all these bots hurt are the real traders in the channels who are occupied between getting their messages across the spams and squelching the private nuisances.
