Why would anyone want to make a CL sorc?
Lightning does WAY more dam with WAY less mana cost.
If you think about it, normally you hit more with lightning than CL, and you WILL kill WAY faster unless you are in norm, and it is MUCH more effective killing 5 different monsters with one shot of lightning each than using couple more CL to kill the 5 monsters.
