CB + strafe = a bad idea?

CB + strafe = a bad idea?

I was thinking of making a strafeazon nand stack up on crushing blow items but people tell me it's a bad idea. So does this idea work or should I just get a WF like everybody else? Maybe if I combine WF with CB it will do some damage?

- Crushing Blow: Grants a chance to outright remove a certain amount of a monsters life. The amount a target loses by use of a Bow is as follows:

- Against Normal monsters = 1 in 8, or 12.5% Life Removed
- Against Champions, Bosses, and Act Bosses = 1 in 16, or 6.25%
- Against other Players and Hirelings = 1 in 20, or 5%

Note that the amount removed is affected by the monsters remaining life. For example, if a monster with 1,000 Life is now at 500 Life, and you score a Crushing Blow, you remove 12.5% of 500, or 62.5 Life. Note that damage is calculated AFTER Crushing Blow takes effect.

It is good. It isnt crucial to have, and you wont suffer if you dont have it, but if you do, its nice.

Even though theirs a penalty with cb+ ranged attacks, hell monsters have lots of hit points and it will definately speed up your killing by a noticable amount

Beacuse loh is superior with +350ed to demons, and gore rider only adds 15 cb. Some people do prefer gores to travs tho.

actually i read an analysis some time ago, from a dedicated bowazon player, who concluded that crushing blow equipment was not really worth the sacrifice of other gear. basically a little bit works ok, but b/c crushing blow is halved (i think, not sure) for ranged attacks, having a lot of crushing blow requires too much sacrifice from the rest of your gear. i think the war travelers +dmg mod ends up helping a lot more than the crushing blow on gore riders.

(however all this is said without empirical evidence. i dont have a link to that thing i read a long time ago and i dont have any numbers as proof. so i could be wrong.)

Gore riders are yucky. Use goblin Toe.

I have a strafer with 50% crushing blow, and, it gets the job done. Im not saying its 1337, but its not to be neglected (unless you have godly gear and like 4k strafe)

ewww. i couldnt stand for my bowazon to not have loads of frw. seems to work for you though. i stock up on frw charms, cats eye, frw boots, and even have that vigor aura bow on switch b/c i hate running slow :lol:
