Casters and 'Cannot Be Frozen'

Hey guys,

After lots of googling I decided to make a post. :whistling:

The thing is, I am leveling my Nova sorc at the moment and I have to decide wheter to socket my viper with Cham or with a [email protected]/7%fhr jewel.

What does being frozen actually do?

-Does it slow your FCR? Pretty sure it doesn't.
-Does it slow your FHR? This I don't know.
-Does it slow your Walking/Running? Definatly.
-Does it slow your attackspeed? Pretty sure it does.

I was reading some sorc guide and I think it mentioned CNBF as a must.. now I wonder why... Do I really need that Cham (PvP)?

Any help aprreciated!

I think Most people tend to wear a ravenfrost when up against a cold deuler.

Hmm true, but I really prefer wearing an extra Soj, since I dont really like sorbing in the first place. And Id rather give up one socket instead fo the +skill and mana of a soj.

Thanks for ur reply... Still wondering though, do I need that Cham?

Cheers

Unless you plan on doing a lot of running around instead of Teleporting, then it doesn't really hinder anything on a caster.

being chilled/decrep does not hinder ur FHR or FCR. Of course, if ur frozen, u cant move, which means u cant cast nor go into fhr, lol. Characters cant be frozen, only monsters can.

Allright, that means I don't need to look a Cham. Thanks for clearing it up!
