Can you 'pre-buff' oak and cyclone armor?

Hey on my wind druid i was wondering.. could i keep a lidless and a +3 weapon or something on my weapon switch, and cast my oak and cyclone on switch, then go back to my regular gear and the oak and cyclone will keep the extra points?

i am 99% sure that you can.

you can easily test this out just by looking at your life points, compare and contrast.

for cyclone armor, you can prebuff energy shield and stuff, so i assume, you can for cyclone armor.

And actually I think the level of the spirit goes down, but the aura stays the same level.
