Try this: Place all five fingertips onto the table, only your fingertips. Now, tuck your ring finger (next to the pinky) into your palm (in the position it would be in while making a fist) Make sure the finger is tight in there. You should now have your Thumb, Index Finger, Middle Finger and Pinky tips on the table, with your ring ringer tucked tighly underneath, the knuckle should be on the tabletop.
Now, lift up try to lift your thumb and set it back down. Samw with the other fingers one at a time.
