    Can someone make me a HC account dummy?

    Hey I just started playing again and want to play Hardcore mode, but i do ont have it enabled. Can someone make me a dummy account that has Hardcore enabled please?

    Yeah only that didn't work for me, i guess i tmight have something to do with windows vista.

    Possible. I don't know much about vista's workings as I'm yet to sidegrade.
    The value is still going to be in the registry in the same place though I'd assume, you could do it on your own with regedit (or whatever if regedit doesn't exist in vista) if you feel confident with that sort of thing.

    If not, you'll have to wait for someone else to come along, as I don't have D2 installed at the moment.

    Also, anyone with vista wanna figure out what needs doing?

    Never used Vista but if you think you did something wrong creating the registry key, run this command (copy&paste):
    reg add "HKCU\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II" /v AllowHardcore /t REG_DWORD /d 00000001

    Works in XP atleast.
