can set items be ethereal?

The title says it. can set items be eth? it just occurred to me that i dont remember ever seeing one. I can think of some set pieces that woud be awesome of it was eth though like IK maul.

For some reasons I don't know, Blizzard just does not allow set items to generate as ethereal items.... Just don't know why... I don't think there are any set items which will be overpowerful if they were ethereal... Wait, how about the IK Maul which is indestructible (so we don't need a Zod anymore)and has 2 empty sockets, although it has only 200% ed?

Set items are never ethereal, but even if they could be, the IK Maul never would be. Items that spawn Indestructible are never allowed to spawn ethereal (unless they always do, like ghostflame).

True, the only items that can be Ethereal and Indestructible at the same time are those new uniques in 1.10 that always spawn with the "new 1.10" atribute "ethereal".

As allready said, they can't. Low quality items can't be ethereal either.
