Can my Hammerdin Solo the Ubers?
I'm one destruction key away from from a full set and I need to know if I'm gonna be wasting the HR the organs are worth by taking my shot at the Ubers. Could someone please advise? I really want my own torch. I don't have a smiter and I don't have the wealth to make one yet, I'm not very rich, etc., so I can't mess this up. Here's my equip, entirely self-found (cept the probably-duped HR's in my brand new 'nigma!):
Harlequin Crest / 1256D Enigma / Spirit Sword AND Spirit Shield
Frostburn / Tearhaunch / Tal's Belt
+2 skill+FCR+Resist Amulet / Resist+Stat Rings /
75% All resist (cept Fire is 48)
Monstrous Hit Recovery
75% Block
~1700 Life
8000 Defense (more with my Defiance Merc- though I guess Holy Freeze might be better)
7.5K Hammer Damage @ 75% Breakpoint
I can be very methodical and I plan to forgo the concentration aura for salvation to counter Mephisto's conviction.
Anyway, Do I have a chance, or should I just sell the organs and get out? If I have a shot, can I get some hammerdin specific pointers? Equipment, strategy, etc.?
