Can anyone join to help me kill diablo quick?

Hiya, this might be a bit of an odd request, but could anyone join my game quick to kill diablo? I'm playing completely untwinked so I don't have any +skill items, and I guess 2 points in summon resist doesn't cut it against him. Even decrepified, with a clay golem on him (only slevel 1 :/) and an ice mage hitting him, he simply wipes out my summons in seconds. It takes 2 of those fire circles to kill them all, or one lightning burst into a pack to kill most...

I'm just doing act4 runs right now to level a bit more in hopes that I might be able to take him at higher level, but I'd much prefer to level in act 5.

Thanks.

Edit: Nm, finally got him on my third run. I got really lucky in that he kept using his melee attack until the very end (at which point I had to resummon my army 4 times to finish off like 5% heh).

If you are in a hurry to get someone to help, you should atleast remember to post what realm / difficulty you are playing on.

Congrats on kicking big D's *** He can be a handful for an untwinked summoner.

I did but editted it out since I had killed him anyway. ;)

Thanks tho. =)

Btw is there any way to avoid having D use his specials but instead use his melee? The melee is a joke, sure it kills a skeleton or my golem in one hit, but it beats killing all 9 in one go lol. When he kept meleeing he was picking on my golem so all I had to do was chain summon golems and keep him decrep'd.

Another question, are summons affected by the negative resists from nm/hell? Do they naturally gain resist like the merc? Because if my summons are gonna have -40 in nightmare (and slevel 2 SR only gives 34) then Diablo is gonna be even worse next time around. ><

Casting a golem on top of big d is a great opener fr this battle. Just golem, decrep and keep casting golem when he dies. He should try to attack the golem first with a melee, giving your skellies more time to move in to close range.

Not really, but gumby+decrep+chilling makes act bosses cast things a lot less frequently. I often kill hell-diablo without ever seeing one of his stinking bad breath spell, and Baal never teleports, summons his clone or makes tentacles.

Can't tell for sure, but it definitely doesn't feel like it. I would assume the penalty doesn't apply.

He won't. Normal diablo is the hardest for a summoning necro (and probably all other classes as well, since they either don't have their endgame skills yet, or they aren't developed properly). By the time you reach nightmare-diablo you will (should) have your skeleton skills maxed already, and that WILL make a huge difference.

You will need decent +skills in hell, though, just like all the other skillbased builds. On the plus side, though, there is a lot of things that you don't need...

it takes awhile (10+ minutes) but IM and cg is all you need. Just makes sure CG is up at all times (ie recast him just before he dies, and keep him to the opposite side or flanks from where you are standing). Just make sure your FR is up and your fine.

Goto Act II buy a wand with CG and IM Mods to make it easier, or at least lessen recasts.

Also with a large slow target (i noticed this on Baal) with a pre buffed Lvl 10 clay, cleglaws, and decrept. That many attacks seemed nulified.

I rush down the corridor he sits in cast CG behind him, my merc ran up and I stood behind one of those torch pots (? not sure what they were/are?). He never went after my CG, but my merc took very little damage and survived the whole fight (only a couple Lifetap casts), like wise I should've been taking damage from the lightning attack and I wasn't (and neither was my merc.)
