Let me get this straight.... although gays are about 10% of the population, in 2005 they made 2/3rd of the new cases of AIDS... yet the phrase you used was "slightly higher"? Give me a break.

Did you bother to read the rest of the site? Yes the highest infection is with males, particularly *** males. However, we aren't arguing that *** men have higher statistics, we are talking about your idiotic statement that very little transmission is done vaginally. To follow up that statement, from the same site:

Note the bolded text. Most common, now does that really sound like vaginal sex is low risk?
Honestly, I don't really care how you respond to that, I do care though that someone might read your statement and think it is true, have unprotected sex and continue spreading this disease.
As for your generalization that gays consider HIV a badge of honor, WTF? Really, WTF? While yes there are some insane people out there, crass generalization that any group as a whole, *** or straight, would consider contracting a disease with a high death mortality an honor is ignorant.
No ignorant would imply lack of knowledge. In this case I would say you are willfully stupid. I think you actively have to work to be that much of a dumbass.
