Came back to D2 after a few years

Hey guys, I used to play D2 a lot back in .09 and quit once they had the bugged items such as Occy Rings, 4 socketed Storm Shields, etc.

When I used to play I was very into magic finding and I remember back then the best % of mf to have was like 160-220 or so. I wanted to know if this has changed.

Also, I'm making a sorc that's level 18 or 19 and haven't spent any stats or skill points yet. I would like to know if someone can provide me with a link for a good MF'ing sorc build, mostly going to do Hell Baal runs. Or is there a better MF'ing source now?

TY for any help that can be given back to me.

There is no optimum magic find percentage. Wear as much MF as you can without slowing down your kill speed. If that's 200% then fine, but if you can wear 400% and kill just as fast, then that's even better.

As for builds, the stickies are your friends.

Sorc forums for builds. Alsp, with MF it is a balance between killing ability and MF gear. As long as you can kill effectively you can wear as much MF gear as you want. 200%...300%...400% and higher. Your only problem will diminishing returns the higher you go percent wise on returns for unique items. Unique items have the most diminishing returns.
