Im going to make a call to arms, what weapon should i make it in?

double axe, crystal sword, and flail all work.

I like to use a weapon that is very obviously different than the main weapon of the character using the CTA. Crystal sword is usually my first choice for this.

Yeah, doesnt really matter, just something light so you dont have to waste stat points in it.

Sorc staff with +3 Energy Shield, +x Thunderstorm and +x Frozen/Chilling Armor.

I made a CtA in a staff like that for my nova sorceress last ladder season. Of course, it came out +1 battle orders, duh!

The last two guys meant to ask which character it is for :azn:.

If it's not for any particular character, most people prefer flails or crystal swords. However, other equipment (like a torch) will probably add enough to str and dex to meet the reqs for much more one-handed weapons which can have 5 sockets.

Either any low req weap or a 3 hs scepter or 3 es/tstorm/any cold armor staff.

Holy shield scepters are incredibly rare, however, and it would be a waste on any character but certain paladin builds. If you have a scepter with +3 HS, and you need CtA for something else, better sell the scepter to some obscenely rich person (or better, get a bidding war between two of them started) and do something useful with the dozens of HRs you might get for it.
