Have fun with your Hunter. Mine is lvl 18 and I hope to finish Hell with my sorc so I can work on Dolin. He's a summon only Hunter as well. I'd like to know which minion summons you intend to develope? I'm tempted to go spirit wolf only, but I've read that grizzly is more powerful and is used by most players. I like a challenge though and so must you. Summons only, at higher difficulties, should provide alot of fun. Keep posting your observations, I'll be interested in what you feel you should or should not of done.

Wouldn't Dire Wolf be a better option than Spirit Wolf? They're right in between Spirit Wolf and Grizzly in number as well as damage, but if you max the synergies it might work out just fine... (dunno really, never played a Druid to the fullest, just really fond of wolvies ;))

Yes, dire wolves would be better. But, they eat corpses to regenerate and that would irritate my sons' skellymancer. For solo, I would take your advice and use dire wolves. And, thanks for reminding me of the synergies, I had forgotten about that aspect.

As far as I know, Dire Wolves only eat some of the corpses to regenerate, and only when they really have to, so that would leave plenty for your son's Skellymancer. By the way: really cool that you play together with your son! Wish I could get my dad to play...

Good point about dire wolves. My son prefers endless Meph runs and I get bored with that. So, when I get a better connection, I'd be glad to host a game for you. I actually had to force my son to play but after 10 min. he was hooked.
