Are you certain that Weapon Block can block melee attacks and most elemental and magical attacks, including Bone Spirits, Hammers, FOH, Traps, Cold Orbs, Fireballs, and etc. ?????

If so Weapon Block is potentially more useful than a 75% block shield?

nice guide... i like the easy to read fonts too :D

And to answer the above post about WB, yes it blocks spells.

Basically it blocks stuff like fireball, bone spirits/spears/teeth, hammers, traps, heck it blocks corpse explode and other area effecting stuff. Things it does not block are damage over time type spells, like firewall cannot be blocked, and metior however the initial falling metior damage can be blocked, the remaining fireduration damage cannot. Posion nova can be blocked if i remember correctly, tornadoes, blizzard, tons of spells.

Hurricane Im not too sure if its blockable since its a duration type spell, inferno or articblast I dont think can be blocked either. So basically all the majior PVP elemental/magical attacks can be blocked, only a few weak spells cannot be blocked that you dont need to worry about anyways.

Another inherant advantage of WB is that it remains at the same %to block at all times. No more haveing to "walk" when being shot at by zons or dueling barbs. Works the same vs spells, no matter if ur running/walking/whirl winding, your block % will always be at its full potential!!!! This makes WB godly in 1.1. Even barbs block% drops to like 25% while whirl winding, sins will remain at 62% all the time.

Some things I dissagree with on the guide though, I'm like 99% sure that bladesheild will not cast Open Wounds. I dunno about blade sentinels though, I do know they cast amp/life tap from %to cast items though :) As was pointed out to me when a WW sin shot a ton of ninja stars at me when the first cast Life tap, the following stars healed the sin to nearly full health.

Hmmm, I still don't think WB is cut and dried vs. Zon arrows. The skill is a little bugged, if my friend's tests are accurate. Running = lower block % against arrows. If someone has conducted very recent tests specifically against arrows, please share results

IIRC in the old FAQ, it said WB doesn't block arrows while running.....Still blocks other stuff while running though...

Nice Guide But How The Hell Did You Manage To Get 3 Sockets Into Nats Armour?
In 1.10, Nat's Armor can get up to 3 sockets.

I got my 3 socketed Nat's Armor from a friend.

Nice guide.
A little comment, ww away isn't a itd mod, it's just that when someone is chasing you their block is generally 1/3 and their defense is zero, since they will be running after you.
I kind of want to make a wwsin now :D :D

Please get rid of that avatar, mr belding is teh lamezors.

Am I the only one who cringes everytime I see it?
Hehehe, I agree. Mr. Belding is, indeed, teh lamezors, yet, because of that, I find fugitives avatar hip, and compelling.

Decent guide, might need a little more mana though, as in popping mana potions during duels = lame to the max = /

Might want to add in gear to level with and duel with, as I find it does make a big difference i.e. for leveling vamp gaze with dual leech rings, for dueling it is shako + 2 sojs for me.

Keep up the good work!

Mana pots aren't lame.
