BvC does grief have to be perfect?

Hi yall!

I have been building a BvC lately and I pretty much only need the Grief BA to have him fully geared. Or at least kinda well geared. Anyhow, with a midroll Beast in off hand and grief in the right hand, does the grief have to be a 39X roll to be usefull? Will it be damaging enough with a lower roll?

The higher dmg the better of course but any grief is a good whirlwind weapon, I use a 393 or 396 one, can't remember :laugh:

The cruical mod is IAS - you need at least 34 IAS to reach the whirlwind breakpoint.

Thx, the IAS shall be 34, that much I knew. Ok, well, will i notice a big difference if it's like 34/365?

yes, the difference on dmg between a 365 and a 400 one will be like have 23 less 3max/ar/life scs.

35dmg on both min and max = 70max dmg = 23 3/xx/xx scs.
I wouldnt settle for anything less than 390 myself.

The difference isn't that noticeable. Try getting 37x or 38x damage and see if you like the char before you invest too much.

of course the grief has to be perfect. with perfect one, you kill everybody. with 1 off perfect, you'll get ripped by stuff, including bearzons

It is just more bang for the buck to get high # on axe than using a low/avg axe and spending a lot of charms.

Everyones saying it has to be perfect :S but it really doesn't make that much difference....

Obviously higher ed will give you more dmg output and is better, but you'll do just as good with a an avg grief as you would with a perfect 1, without spending 30+ hrs.

Also your bvc and not bvb. most casters are weak anyway, so its not needed.

The only time u'll really notice it is vs other melee chars.

it not only has to be perfectly 400/40, it also has to be on a 15ed berserker axe, to be able to kill anyone. trust me on this
