BVB Charms question

Hey all,

Just wondered, which charms would be best for bvb. Im planning on getting 17+life/ar/3max dmg sc's but these are pretty hard to find.

untill I can find all of these what would be best 30-40life/100+ar gc's or 20life scs???

My current stats are:

4k life
24k ar

24k ar? i do hope you're not using enchant to achieve that (on west nl, chant is BM in bvb).

while a max/ar/lifer setup is generally considered the "best". ar/lifers and barb/mastery lifers have also been known to be put to good use.

don't stress overly about getting all SC's, use lc's and gc's if you happen across them while still hunting for sc's. nice max/ar/life lc's can sometimes be surprisingly cheap.

ok about 19k ar . everyone seems to enchant tho so i do to. although i play ladder.

mmm never really see anyone selling good large charms, know anyone selling em? the scs seem to go for 4-10hr each

Just wondered what you would consider better until i can find the charms i need. higher life or higher ar? or do they both kinda weigh each other out.

with 4k life, i'm assuming your a str build?

the general bvb AR goal is 20k.

Yeah. gone for the strength build.

Think its better to have half decent life n gg dmg. rather than just being a tank and doing little dmg

you've sacrificed a HUGE amount of life for massive damage. i'd suggest you continue with that strategy and go for lots of +max.

30max jool your helm and shield, get as many 10max gc's as you can.

are you using axes or swords?

if axes, maybe try for some +min damage in there somewhere too.

I went for swords. I know axes are better, but i use em on my bvc and wanted something different. + swords look alot sexier.

you're a strength build, so you already have oodles of off-weapon %ed. adding in another 40% on top of the ~1000%+ you already pack has a pretty minimal difference. +30max however has a much bigger impact.

my bvb is a vit build and i use a +max jool in my hat and a 40ed/-15% reqs jool in my shield. i'm often told i hit pretty damn hard.

jools with both %ed AND +max (or +min) are bugged in off-weapon sockets.

you made the right choice, especially being a str build.

swords have a much tighter damage range than axes, so overall i think you made the right choice. if i had a worthwhile grief CS on NL i would have gone with swords for my bvb.

cool only went for sword, coz i use to play classic where bvb sword barbs were the whole point to the game guess i made the right decision
