    Buying on ebay

Anyone ever buy the stuff for sale on ebay? I usually just play alone, often not even online and am definately a newbie. Are there anythings that I CAN'T use? I know ladder, but is there anything else I should worry about?

If you need things to get started, check the Giveaway thread. Most people here are generous and, best of all, you don't have to pay real money for it.

If you are new, I highly recommend you don't spend any of your hard-earned cash on buying D2 items, legit or otherwise. As Ravenforce said, the giveaway thread is a great place to gear up, and the game is a lot more fun without uber-items anyway.

Good Luck, and welcome to the SPF!

I'm confused. No one would sell SP items on ebay (would they?).

Whats the point of selling SP items on ebay when more people play realms. I'm sure people do sell SP items but not many and too few. Not that I care.

Welcome to the SPF! Visit the EM-- Burp! :drink: till the cows come home.

If you join the SPFHCL I could hook you up probaly in a couple hours maybe... cause after I finish normal I'll have a Low level giveaway for HCL.

    Buying items????

Play the game and see what kind of luck you get. With enough MF you can get quite a collection pretty quickly, so please don't waste your $ or € on virtual items.

    cheers,

No one would sell SP items when they are freely available for download.

Welcome to the SPF, hope you enjoy your stay :)

If your playing Single Player (and even if your not, IMHO) then there is no point parting with real money for virtual items on Ebay. Download ATMA, there should be a link in the stickied thread at the top of the page, and then check the Giveaway thread. Loads of people here do alot of MF runs and are really generous with their finds.

"Softcore" is the standard Singleplayer game mode, where you can die and hit escape and go get your stuff from your body again. "Hardcore" is an option you get once you've completed Normal once, when you create a new character, which means you cant do that. While playing a Hardcore character, if you die, thats it, game over, start all over again. Needless to say, Hardcore is much.. well.. harder.
