Building $$ Bowzon

Last time a played a bowzon was in 1.09 (that's all i played back then actually) so things have changed a bit. Cost is not really an issue, so what would be your best equipment build for a bowzon, with minimal requirements:

Strafe (main skill) - fastest frame rate possible
Using Fortitude Wire Fleece

cant really decide on getting a WF of a Faith in either a GMB or Matriarchal. Leaning towards the WF based on what I've read....Any suggestions?

Best PvM ladder gear IMO:

Weapon: Faith GMB 13+ (so you can reach 7fpa without... complications)
Switch: Harmony bow for running / CTA for more life / Wrath bow for Decrepify <- any of these will work
Armor: Fortitude Archon (well, 103 str is quite high but GMB needs 108str, so... and it looks quite cool too!)
Helm: Mavina's Diadem with ed/ias jewel, or 3 soc magical helm with life/dex/str and socketed with 3x edias jewels (max possible 45ias and 120ed).
Belt: Not much of a choice here, Nosferatu's Coil for combat mods or upgraded Goldwrap for MF.
Gloves: Laying of Hands, those bonuses can't be beat. You'll notice a difference when fighting in any Demon infested area.
Boots: War Traveler what else?
Ring1: Dual leech 8/6 with 1xx ar and other mods...
Ring2: Raven Frost
Amulet: Highlord's Wrath or Cat's Eye. A small selection, but we sure need that 20% extra ias.

Merc: Might merc with Andy Mask (or Gaze), Stone/Shaft armor and Pride polearm for Conc aura.

Faith bow needs a really small amount of ias to reach the highest possible Strafe speed (8/2). Try weapon speed calculator here. I don't think it has the latest database but should give you an idea.

With a Faith setup you might want to use Multi instead anyway. It tops at 7fpa - very fast and large area coverage.

Hmm 48% for 7 fpa with Mat bow at level 12 fanat

50% for 8 fpa with GMB at level 12 fanat

if only the mat bow only required 40%

i'll go with the GMB then at 8/2

WF is definately better if your using strafe. You can reach the last BP with WF easily.

yes but it is more reasonable if you use a rogue/faith

agree with slain. 8/2 strafe is only a hair quicker than 9/2 and Wf can hit that easy.

Also agree with Superdave on the rogue faith. Makes a sick 7 frame WF multi zon set up. Keep the merc alive and the killing power is nuts.

Yes that's the most common weapon for a good strafer. All you need is 120 ias to reach 9/2 Strafe and you're all set.
