    Bugged set item question

Today I found a disk that had some really old D2 characters saved on it. I mean old old. They were still Classic D2. I converted them to Expansion to see what they had on them, which turned out to not be much of anything, but two of them had what I think used to be Arctic Furs, and one had what I think used to be Arcanna's Head. Now they both register as pieces of Isenhart's set. The Furs say they are Isenhart's Parry Quilted Armor and the helm says it is Isenhart's Case Skull Cap. ATMA shows these pieces as being part of an unknown set.

    So three questions...
    Is this a known bug?
    Is there a fix?
Is there any market for buggy items like this for collectors?

Something prior to 1.07 is all I know. How do you find that out?

I am not 100% sure about this, but I think ATMA supports to 1.07. I am not sure about before that. I know there is a tip in ATMA that says prefixes are not properly displayed in versions prior to 1.07.

Check out the ATMA thread stickied here. Hakai may respond to your post there. He wrote the program so he will be able to answer your question.

That's how I know it is prior to 1.07, ATMA wouldn't even open the files until I updated the files.

Thanks for the help though, I will try posting over there.

Non-ATMA-user question: Is that how the app displays Arkaine's? How do you know which characters have +1 and which have +2?

What do you mean? The armor can spawn with either +1 to skill, or +2 to all skill, and is the same to all characters, not sure if this is what you are asking.

Version 1.10 AV gets plus 2 to all skill I believe, same as pre-1.09 Valors.

Edit: dreamer is right, either 2 or 1 to all skill. :)

Yes, 1.10 is less messy with just +1/2 to all classes.

    And hello VvV!

Ah. gotcha. My brain is still in 1.09 mode for that armor since that's the only version I've ever seen. :teeth:

I really wasn't interested in trading anything for them, I prefer to keep all my items self found. Just curious whether there was a market for those sorts of things, sounds like there probably is. Since I have two of the furs though, I would send you one if you are that interested. PM me your email.
