    Bramble for a smiter?

I was wondering, how well would a bramble armor work for a smiter? I duel in mostly pubby duels so im no stranger to bm, and i wanna know if it would give an edge in duels, especially smite vs smite.

Wont help vs Casters...and it will just be total BM vs any other melee class... I say go ahead and use it if you wanna be a turd. Why not just build a skilled character...feels much nicer.

I don't think we should judge people like what you just did. He's asking to see if it will help in duels. My personal experience is not that much, thorns has been nerfed so much that it doesn't do all that much damage. It does give a small edge though but I'd rather have +2 additional skills to do more smite damage instead.

I would agree here, the bramble armor will not be that much help, either +2 to skills or even guardian angel for the extra resists

with a high enough smite skill(for the stun duration) it might be pretty helpful actually, since if they still have a swirly over their head when they hit you, the damage they take will send them into hit recovery animation...might be fun to tinker with that a bit

I especially like using my silence phase blade vs monsters since it's indestructable (when you smite, it's not your shield that goes down in durability, it's the weapon). It's cheaper in the long run and best combined with exile so you can leech off skellies and the like.
