bowzon dclone killer?

Is this possible with enough crushing blow, lifetap, prevent monster heal and chance to open wounds?? What about psn?

Has anyone ever done it??

try a CS ama that helps the best way and is the only effective way defeating DC dont choose bowazone those are far to weak only a pure javazone with CS synergied can kill DC on a decent way

ladder season 1 I killed him 20+ times using a bowazon only. I used buriza and WF. Required stuff are a form of PVH (I used natures peace), Fire and lightening absorb (dwarf star and thundergods vigor). Gore riders speeds it up. I used both strafe and guided (I found that a 9/2 Wf straffer is faster than using 9 frame guided). I did not have life tap as I wore laying of hands for 350% ed to demons. When I started out it would take about 3-5 minutes to take him down. Last time I did it with a bowazon, took about 1 1/2 minutes. Definately not the fastest char but an interesting battle and a lot of fun. Actually first time I tried, spent 3 hours and could only get him down to 1/3 life remaining. I ran out of pots, money to buy pots. That was of course before i had natures peace and tgods vigor.

you will need pmh.....crushing blow is severly nerfed but when clone hunting i do swap out the travs for a pair of gores...it cuts the time to take him down by 1/3
if you are doing the clone solo...and i can't stress this enough....max all of your resists and pile on absorbs(fire and light)....yes its better to sacrifice ias gear if it means that you don't have to constantly drink pots.....even though loh are the best gloves in the game some people may want to swap them out for a pair of dracs...get a life tap into him and you are set!!

a zon with max resists and absorbs can stand toe to toe with the clone.

my first (and only) time taking out dclone i used this strategy:

1. use multishot to activate pmh. you should do this well before the 2 minute deadline, as if he regens anything, that extends the time considerably. multishot is also the best way to hit him with bad ar.

2. use freezing arrow. freezing arrow has several special properties: first, the area attack always comes out, regardless of whether the arrow part actually hits or not, and always hits. also, you have a chance to hit him twice if he is near a wall w/pierce. however, the arrow part disappears, so you almost never get leech or hit with it.

3. store money in items. what i started doing this ladder was to save all my failed crafted amulets for emergency cash, 35k per single inv square.

it took a while (i wasn't paying attention, i would guesstimate maybe 45 minutes?) but i was able to get him alone with hardly any items except a buriza and a nature's peace ring.

but, other things i remember from that fight:
3 million gold spent/lost
5000 bolts used

that is a well earned anni...a nicely equipped zon can easily take him solo in under 5 minutes...most of the time in under 2

Thanks for the ideas guys. I am working on a CS zon yes I know CS zon's and Smiter Pally's are realy good at beating dclone.

But I being different welcome the challenge of making a uniqe dclone killer. And bowzons are my fav characters. So that being said what would be better WF, Brand, Faith, or Wrath. I already have a 4os MB waiting for runes.

Since it's a mat bow I am leaning towards Brand or Wrath since I think Faith would go better in a GMB.

Boots: Gore Riders
Gloves: Draculs grasp (already have)
Armor: Duress?
Ammy: Highlord's Wrath, Seraph's Hymn, The Rising Sun or Atma's Scarab?
Belt: ??
Rings: ??/??
Helm: Tal Rasha's Horadric Crest for RA, LL, ML, +life, +mana
Helm Socket: ??
Charms: anything with FHR, Resists, FRW

help me fill in the blanks

bumpity bump?

When will people learn to read the rules?

Rule number 6 states no unatural bumping:

6. Thou Shalt Not Engage in Unnatural Bumping. We have a "bump up" feature, where the post with the most recent addition goes to the top of the forum listing. If your post is good, it'll be responded to. If it's responded to, it'll undergo the process we call Natural Bumping. Natural Bumping = good. Unnatural bumping = bad. Unnatural Bumping is where someone posts, "I'm adding this to put this thread back at the top." Do it, we slap your hand. Do it often, you pull back a bloody stump.

Please refrain from bumping lest you receive a "bloody stump". Just for that bump, this thread will be closed for one day.
