Bowazon/javazon hybrid

Bowazon/javazon hybrid

I have never played a javazon myself but I'm thinking of making one after a 2 month break. I was thinking of making a hybrid javazon/bowazon since all damage from a bowazon comes from items+charms so 1 point GA and enough points in MS ( maybe 10 or 11 extra points ) to have 22 arrows and the rest in the light javazon tree with 1 points in all passive except valkyrie. Would this work you guys think? This is how I think I might build it, I'm open for suggestions. It's just for PvM fun, don't think it's that good in PvP.

skills
1 - GA
enough points to have 22 arrows - MS ( 10 or 11 points )
max points - CS/LF/LB
rest - LS or PS
1 point - all passive except the tree with inner sight and valkyrie

stats
str - enough to wear gear
dex - rest ( or none if going for vita )
vit - none ( or rest if going for vita )
energy - none

gear
helm - 120/45/30frw circelt
armor - fortitude
weapon switch 1 - faith GMB with atleast 14 aura and +5 skills
weapon switch 2 - eth titan and thunderstroke in stash
shield switch 1 - not possible
shield switch 2 - phoenix
amulet - the cat's eye
ring 1 - dual leech ring or mana leech only ring
ring 2 - ravenfrost
belt - nosferatu
gloves - laying of hands in PvM and knockback or 3/20 gloves for PvP.
boots - rare boots or treks.
charms - mixture of life and fhr javazon skillers + 3/20/20 or 20/5 or 20/11 or whatever sc you feel like adding.

merc gear
weapon - eth pride
armor - eth fortitude
helm - eth andy with ral

Stragety
Just play like a standard bowazon except that you kill act bosses with CS instead of GA.

Should work fine, though I'd probably suggest a slightly lower level of multi. Most arrows would be wasted if it's to high, and those points can be used for further lightning synergies if you save them.

The phoenix can be annoying for your CS/LF, looking at your setup you can probably afford a 20/20 monarch, even a plain one will give max block since you pump dex, and those -20 will help you take down bosses at least 20% faster (iirc I counted and got 33% faster vs dia). Otherwise spirit works on a budget ofc.

Highlords will give your lightning skills a boost while still having the IAS, and the DS should be better then the dex in terms of bow damage, downside being the loss of 30 frw.

fhr javelin skillers will probably be wasted, you should rarely take a hit and when you do more life would probably do you more good.

Thanks for the input, the highlords is a very good idea. In what way is a phoenix annoying for CS/LF btw? And how many arrows for MS you think is optimal?

Infinity is very bad for this build right? ( My reason for using pride instead of infinity was because I got no teleport so my merc will be wondering randomly somewhere so most of the time I won't be enjoying the conviction aura but with pride, I'll have allways benefit of it. )

Phoenix has a high chance to cause firestorm, the druid skill, and that skill has a casting delay of 0.6 seconds, meaning that once triggered you cannot attack until the timer has run out.

I prefer lvl 17 (18 arrows) since I run chaos sanctuary a lot, If I where to run smaller areas such as pits of wsk I'd probably go for lvl 15. However if this is optimal or not I cannot say, however 22 arrows will clearly be overkill in almost all areas.

The javelin skills tend to be a bit more dominant then the bowside on most hybrids (talking p8, in p1 anything falls so fast that it's not really much difference between the two), using pride will help you make a more balanced build, while infinity would weight you heavily towards the javelin side.

That being said, infinity isn't bad at all, but in your case you clearly should be using pride since it seems you wanted a bowzon oriented hybrid.
