Bonemancer?

I need help with my necro build too.
Should I use Bone Spirit or Spear, haven't made my mind yet.
Thought of making a golem/bone/poisonmancer (how about a bogomancer :lol:).
Any good builds for that?

My perhaps-to-be-strategy:

Golem Mastery - 20

Bone/Poison: 78-79
Teeth - 1
Bone Armor - 1
Corpse Explosion - 1
Poison Dagger - 12-14
Bone Wall - 1
Poison Explosion - 20
Bone Spear - 1/20
Bone Prison - 1
Poison Nova - 20
Bone Spirit - 0/20

Overall: 110

At lvl 85-87 when all to-be-slvl20 skills are maxed would start taking the rest on PD. Stats would go like: Str for min regs, dex for max block, energy so I wouldn't always be out of it, rest to vit. I prob go untwinked (more fun).

Comments, adjustments??

Edit: Fixed the sums to correspond skill point distribution.

You mean you don't understand why I would put 20 points in Golem Mastery?
My primary attack is either Bone Spear or Bone Spirit. (If I understood the question right)

Does my plans make any sense to anyone? :lol:

N'thraXX: Personally I'd go with Spear rather than Spirit if you're going by that route. This way you can mow through groups that your Golem is being smacked around by... more FCR will help with the mowing-down.

You may want to put a point in Spirit just for the tiny bit extra damage (it may only be 7% more, but every little helps), and you may find it useful for shooting things off-screen if there's lots of trouble.

Also, before maxing your synergies, test the skills out to see if you need them - if everything falls over after the first Nova/Spear then you don't need to boost that skill just yet! The same goes for Golem Mastery, put points in when your Golem's life isn't enough (speed is mostly irrelevant).

Finally, you should probably concentrate on getting +mana from items rather than boosting energy. Each point in energy only gets you 2 mana, so you'd need 10 whole points in Energy just to fund one more Nova! A Caster crafted wand can be handy for boosting mana in the absence of SoJs/Frostburn, as can PSapphires in helm/armour.
