Bonemancer dilema: 7 points in other threes or all in P&B?

I'm building PvP Bone necro and it's hard to decide whether to pput 3 points in Summons(glay golem, mastery and resists) and 4 in curses (up to decrepfy) or put all of the points in P&B tree for max dmg.
Note: I'll not use marrowwalk bug, cos' I want to be able to spam Prisons

In theory, you can get decrep from a wand on weaponswitch, or (if you are using an A2 merc) from Reaper's Toll. You can't get gumby from a wand, since he will vanish when you switch back to your caster wand (besides, it would be difficult to get a wand with exactly the three summon skills you want).

Other than that, it's a question of playstyle and preferences: bonewalls/prisons "slow" monsters quite a bit, but you might want to have something for teleporters (such as baal) or monsters that can pass through the walls (such as spectres). But: "might", not "need". As with all builds, there are some things that can be personalized...

id say get the golem since it can be quite useful to take fire away from you with spells/attacks that auto target (foh,bs,ga etc), not sure about the curses but just check how much it would affect your damage and prison life by before you make any decisions.

If you play Hardcore, I think you really need DV as well..and you need a good duration. Depending on your +skill gear, it might be a one point wonder.

Usually I also get 1 pt in Confuse and a few points in CE....and a Bonemancer (especially when "abusing" marrowwalks) is still powerful...maybe even more powerful. You might need to cast a few bonespears/spirits more, but monsters who are under DV/confuse usually are no danger anymore.

Actually, for pvp, you may want to think about as many points as possible for decrepify for the extra duration.

If it's for PvP, I would want my bone spells to be all they can be. I would get my decrepify from an Umes wand (or a magic/rare you find). Also, you can still use marrowalks...
1 Ral Rune + 1 Flawed Gem (any kind) + Armor = Fully Repaired and Recharged Armor
Not sure how much you will be spamming bone prisons... but for a Ral and flawed gem, you can fully recharge them. That would give you 13 charges to play with if that's enough, and also give you 20 more skillpoints, a better synergy bonus, and a stonger prison. Just a thought. A bit of an inconvience, but you will maximize your power that way.

I'm not sure about that. I found a necro head with 2 to fire golem on it ( I haven't put any points in FG myself) and after casting it, I sold the head to Malah and the golem was still there.

Get decrep, iron maiden and clay golem. You will need them while dueling, and you won't want to be switching wands in the middle of a duel just to cast a curse... The difference in damage is not great.
