Bone Armor + damage = durability loss?

Bone Armor + damage = durability loss?

As the title says: does bone armor stop damage to your gear when you take damage?
Is melee damage the only thing to lower durability?

dunno about the first one but i think melee and ranged attacks (not spells) are the only things that lower durability

I'm not completly sure, but I believe damage done on bone armour does not have any effect on your durability.
