blocking question

If I was to place an umbral disc on a lvl 14 necro would he get better blocking by placing an eld or a 6 dex jewel into the socket? If no one knows off the top of their head but knows a place were I can look it up that would work also. Thx

Easy way to find out without going into the math and details of your character's attributes:

Locate Hel rune. Socket it with Eld first. Unsocket it. Place 6 dex jewel in it's place. If the latter provides poor results, unsocket it and go with the Eld. I always preferred Peltas myself.

and conner yes I usualy do too but the umbral has the extra dex I'm looking for, and the life bonus for a necro should be more then on the pelta.

I had to do some blocking calcs for my two druid duelers a few days ago, so I had it memorized.

Sad thing is, I'll remember that better than my SSN.

hehe, go to a state college, they use your SSN as your Student ID. That's when I was forced to remember mine. And it's still with me 16 years later! Arrgh!
