I for one am planning to attend Blizzcon 2009, but I doubt I'm the only one. Are you planning on getting tickets? And if we get them, we'll use this space to plan meeting up!

Even if just four of us get there, that will be enough for a full part for the Diablo 3 demo. One of each class, including the new one.

I'm almost positive I will be attending blizzcon along with my brother and neighbor. All I care about is D3 I have been playing DII for nearly 9 years now, off and on anually, its the one game I find myself always going back to. I was pissed I missed out on last years it looked incredible. My neighbor went and he said that they recieved a star craft II demo beta key, and diablo III demo beta cd key, in his blizz pack but both betas have yet to be announced. I most certainly don't want to miss out this time around.

Do you guys anticipate them having a playable DIII demo at the event again?

Definitely, Pwnage. Although if your friend said he got a Diablo 3 beta key he's a liar. Only SC2 was given.

I started the thread now because tickets are going on sale next week.

I'll be in the States early August accompanying my wife who will have to go in work. Vacations start after that trip but we'd rather spend the time somewhere else. It's possible I can convince her to extend our stay. But I'm unsure at this point I will want just for the sake of Blizzcon. Neither I think this would make her happy.

Coming July, we will see. But by then tickets are most probably sold out. So... dunno.

lol aw damn i knew that having a d3 beta key sounded a little fishy, glad to hear you can put my suspicions to rest(my neighbor is going down). If there is indeed a playable demo for DIII i shall be there i'm almost certain of it at this point. I don't even care about any other blizzard games really they never seemed as cool as Diablo!

It's 99% likely that Diablo 3 will be playable at Blizzcon 09. I'll see you there.

I will be traveling abroad in August.

Meh. Missed the last one too. Will proceed to hurl myself against the wall if they ended up giving out Diablo III beta keys.

I'm in the line right now. I started at 7701. Now I'm 6398, but with only 68% of stock left! God, I hope I make it!

On the 30th, I'm going to spend 5 minutes just hammering the refresh button.

Missed it. And already there are scalpers on Ebay. If I had $500 I'd scoop up one right now.

If incgamers is having a contest for ticket giveaways, someone let me know.

me and a friend both got tickets, it opened around 30 seconds before 10 and i was lucky enough to have hit refresh just in time. got in line around 3400 and my roommate a few hundred before me, i'm pretty sure he was one of the last people to get tickets as it sold out right after him.

the best part of the whole thing is even if you keep the beta key they'll most likely give out, the rest of the party bag is still going for more than the cost of the ticket.

blizzcon+beta key+being paid for it=awesome

Why can't Blizzard make a WoWcon, so all the WoW players will go there instead of Blizzcon?

I was entered to checkout instantly , was one of the first to purchase but it bugged and gave me empty bag. I went back quickly and 2000 ppl were infront of me lol, but i managed to get 3 tickets

Got in at 600th place in the queue and was able to snag my tickets.. woot!

I'm so grateful. I was able to go last year and must have played the demo 30 times or more. If I wasn't at a D3 panel I was at the demo station.

even though i cant go, i cant wait for blizz con. all the new information to absorb will be awesome, especialy if they announce a new class.

i expect all of you to go to make a thread or put comments on this thread so i can live the experience Bi-curiously through you all, while remaining jeaslous that i did not get to experience it myself.

Grug, we will have competitions for tickets on diii.net for sure (and worldofwar.net) but Leord and the guys have one on the go now on StarcraftWire.Net.
