Blizzard Sorc - Max Ice Bolt or Glacial Spike First?

I've just maxed Ice Blast and put 10 points into Cold Mastery. Should I max Ice Bolt or Glacial Spike first? This is a pure PVM Sorc.

Glacial Spike first.
It's more usable, and gives important added freeze length to your already maxed Ice Blast.

I would put 5 more hard points into CM first though (i.e. 15 hard points total), for -150% CR after +12 skills.

I disagree with the definition of this build as PvM, but that's not the issue here...

Max CM now first since your damage will always be +100% from the displayed damage then, since all monsters are drained to -100% cold resistance for sure then. After that Glacial Spike, Icebolt last!

i maxed icebolt first on my sorc... shes lvl ** and i have maxed:

icebolt
iceblast
blizzard
cold mastery

then glacial spike has 15 base in it, and with all my gear and snowclash (+3 to glacial spike) it makes glacial spike almost even with the other synergies...

i definatly suggest maxing icebolt first if u want ur ice blast to do more dmg but i guess if ur going PvM i think it would be better to max glacial spike first...

I think glacier spike should be maxed right after blizzard, and some points put into cm. Imho spike is more usefull than blast. Even though the dmg is lower it freezes a group. I always keep it on left click. Great against cows, and saves you merc often. Makes pindle simple as pie to run also, unless hes ci.
