this is my theory behind the new rust storms wiping out everyones belovid runewords.

Those Battle.net servers cost alot to keep up, while they could use them for a more profitable game, i believe this is Blizard's attempt to get people to quit by destroying everyones wealth and making most people start over.

The high end runewords i have are chains of honor and delirium. Chains was made from self found ber/dol/um and 2 mals to make the ist from these trading forums. Delirium was made from self found Ist+Lem. My runewords will remain through this "poofing" and i will be happy as a pig in mud when thousands of whiners quit the realms, perhaps letting the legit players pop back out from the swelling mass of botting/maphacking/spamming.

Many people stupidly believe that high end runewords are necessary to survival when the game is much the same as it was in 1.09. Something like a zealot can go out with items such as HoZ, Guardian Angel and Stormlash and wreck everything left and right IF the player has some common sense!!
