The shield I am using is ber'd Whinstans.

Basically I was rhinking 50% block, cuz I like to tele alot so I mean with at least 50% I can still block than still get away.

u always want to obtain 75% block if u want to go against melee, otherwise is not really worthy just put to 50%. And u need max pdr.

Well, I achieve almost and mostly max resists with this. I can fix those up though I'm not nearly done.

    GEAR:

    P Shako
    Wraith Collar Ammy
    Hoto
Mal'd Viper (Gonna Shael it for FHR)
    Ber'd Whinstans
    Magefist
    x2 Sojs
    Spider
    Imp Shanks

Right now I am hitting about 5~6 k DMG but only have x2 cold gcs right now. Im not sure how much I will hit with all 10 Gcs + lvl 90.

Im thinking of 5/5 cold Faceting the shako, I would use a Nightwing but their to high str and I like to keep base str on all of my charcs. I have 320+ Stats NOT used so I do need help placing them.

So ur saying 50% block is a bad idea? hmm..

    Well,

I can get a death fathom, but I really like hoto.

With Fathom I only hit 100 FCR but the next bp is 105, and w/ hoto I hit that.

I suppose I could get x1 FCR ring but I really like hoto so so much.

I know fcr isnt needed for blizz but I like to tele insanely fast..

If it matters at all I use:

    Dell XP/ 512 Megs Ram

    DSL Internet

there's really no point of 50% even if you plan to go against melee characters. its best that you go 75% and with an eld whinstans, or ss (less block) to give efficient block and dr, though the str required might be difficult to obtain with your gear route.

    Ok,

I asked like 15 + people and posted this on a different forum and they said get 75% block. I dunno 50% just seemed like a good idea.

    One more question:

    Should I use a nightwing?

Like u said I go base str with all my charcs but I can get Str COLD Gcs and than I'll only have to put about 10 points into str for nightwing?

    I use a p shako right now, I could 5/5 it.

    I dunno >.<

1 more thing, is 105 FCR a must? Even though Blizz has a cool down time, I like to tele like hell and I tele so fast with my hoto right now that i'm like a blur :D It also pisses people off.

With fathom I would have 100 FCR which reaches the 80 FCR bp? I could just get a 10 FCR ring for 110 FCR but yeah?

if u use enigma than u will have base str. (and u dont have to waste 2 pts to get teleport)

IMO, the best setup for cold sorc would be: nightwing, death fanthom, enigma, trang glove or magefist, spider, 15-20fcr ammy, ss against melee & 4x 5/5 light facet monarch against the rest, imps, 2x sojs or 2x 10fcr rings.
5/5 facet in fanthom and nightwing. (nightwing gives u dex to max block so u can put those into vita)

No, it is not neccessary for cold sorc to get 105fcr cuz blizz is temporary. (the cool down effect.) Only if u want to tele faster, which is a lot of pains on mana.

in the end cold lifers give more life than str cold gcs
the max str given on a gc is 6 then multiply it by 2 you'll get 12 life
105 isn't a must but i usually like to hit it with all my casting sorcs, speed is one of the sorcs advatanges over the other classes

Bigrob: I would never use a enigma on a sorc. That is just retarted, also I already choose my armor.
