Bliz sorc gear questions I'm building a blizzard MF sorc. Skills are easy. max bliz/synergies/cold mastery and a few obvious 1 pointers like teleport and static. My real question is what gear is ideal to use, most espcially what SHIELD If it matters I have access to most reasnable equipment ( shake, ss, tal's set, visceratuant, etc), though not to extremely high end rune words ( if I did why would I be making a mf sorc? )
I heard static wasn't too popular with the blizzies Shield is Lidless..unless your going for block. Deaths Fanthom is nice, Wiz spike is nice and MF on switch if you want. Tal amu/plate/belt is good, but pricy. Ormus robe is just as nice with a +3 cold skill amu or a rare sorc amu +2. WTs..Frostburns. Nagel, Ravenfrost..Shako OR Nightwing..I plan to use shako but I hear Nightwing is good. If so i'll be trading my shako for one Hope that helps..
I can see static not beign used on meph, but if I ever do anythgin else ( and on occasion I planto) it's worth 1 skill point. so so far I'mthinking roughly... head shako neck tal orb: undecided/gull gloves: frostys armor: tal ring: mf/naga ring: mf/naga belt tal shield: veyr undecideed ( I do wnt block though)/rhyme boots: mf/war travs ( probably just rare mf for now) so the big question is what orb to use: occy, perhaps? and what shield. I'm considrign usign my stormshield. if I do ( good call or bad on the ss btw?) what ould yu suggest socketign it with?
I prefer Deaths fanthom to occy. Because if you ask me, Teleport is teh most annoying killer ever. Edit: Try UPG Visc. I have one for trade with a PD SS has too much str req -_- Even with the -15.
I agree pretty much with all they said, but if you are building a pure blizz sorc, look around for a rare orb. My friend gave me a rare orb that has the following stats: +2 Sorc skills +3 Blizzard And a bunch of rather insiginificant stats, like +20 to mana and stuff like that. As for shield, I use Mosers with 2 pdiamonds, I think someone else recommended that as well, as it has decent def and excellent resists. Just thought I would post my 2 cents.
