    1. Scammer - Malicious BNET user with the intent to steal things of value or importance.
    2. Scammers will make up various stories, all in an attempt to get at your items or password.
    3. Don't interact with them. If anyone asks for your password - anyone - don't hesitate to squelch them. If someone tells you they will trade you their item for your item, but you must give them your item before you recieve theirs - don't hesitate to squelch them or leave the game.

Use common sense, don't hand your password out to anyone, don't give away items unless you are getting a fair trade.

also, ur not a noob. currently, noob is a term mostly used by players to try to insult you. In general the only "noobs" are usually just the people who go around calling legitimate players noobs.

If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Use your head, and you will have no problems.

Just for future reference, the gem in the chat room does nothing.

Hmm...lets see what else I can provide:

-There is no "player ranking" other than the ladder. Some people will tell you to type [/dnd (accnt name)/(password)] to get your player ranking. All this does is give them your password. /dnd command is used for "do not disturb"

-Dont trade in act 2, or drop anything on the ground in act 2 if someone tells you too. There is a bug over by the bar in act 2 where you can drop something then cant pick it up, but the other person can. Basically dont drop trade anything.

-Always, ALWAYS check the inventory of a trade window just before you click OK to trade. It is a well known trick to first show a good item, then switch it out for a look-alike.

Thats all I can think of for now. Just use common sense and you will be ok.

I have to disagree with this. If you click the gem 7 times as fast as you could, and then again another 77 times, and then another 777 times. When you enter a game in hell mode, the first unique you kill will drop a SOJ.

HOLD ON! I'm not sure if that was 8 times, and then ** times and then 888 times. Just try them and a SOJ will drop for sure.

    :yep:

Be adviced though that this can only happen if you're playing Diablo in your dreams.
