Best Trapper Boots and Gloves?

Ive looked at the guides and i got the gear they recommend for boots and gloves but something tells me there is better out there...

Right now i got magefist and treks, what would you guys recommend?

There aren't any good trapper boots, since there are no boots with mods that specifically help a trapper. Use your boots to fill up gaps in res, or anything else you think you need. My favorite boots in such cases are nats set boots, simply because they give res and 40 frw, but treks certainly work as well.

For gloves you could use some gloves with IAS in case it makes you hit a next breakpoint, but certainly if you use fire blast then magefists work just as well. Again, besides IAS and the +1 fire skills from magefists there aren't really any mods on gloves that specifically help a trapper.

Well im a MBer, so Cast rate helps me out a lot as well, thats why im sticking with Magefist i am a Light Trapper and i hardly use Fireblast, but Fire blast does have synergy with my shockwebs so it does help a bit...

+skills do not count for synergies.

I'd prefer trangs over magefist in that case simply because of the cold res.

Ahh didnt know that +skills dont effect synergies...

Shadow Dancer's have shadow skills which may help you but have some hefty str req's. Treks have vita and suit my trapper better.

Gloves can get MA skills if youve dabbled in that tree, too.

Gloves... I like the following three.

1. Bloodfists. These little gloves can do anything. I mean they have mass FHR, mass Life and even 10IAS.
2. Magefists. Another staple. 20%FCR, mana... whatever.
3. Trangs. 20%FCR, Cold resists. Major extra Venom damage... go go hybrids... Oh, you are a pure trapper... never mind then.

I also like Bloodfists, I use Aldurs boots for the 40 frw and 50 life. I play pvm so they may not be best for pvp if that's what you play (I don't pvp).

Treks/Waterwalks/Rare duped 08 boots

Depends on your preference for the boots, but you need at least 65fcr on your build so that's why you use trang gloves.

30 fhr!
+ dex if high req claws are being used
+2 shadow discs! You are of course using Wep Block, MB, SM, BoS, Fade and maybe even Cloak. The +2 is so nice to boost these.
