Best Sorc to team with a Fishymancer?

I have a fishymancer (only low level) and my gf has a sorc, we were originaly going to go cold, but I have heard bad things later on in the game (resistant etc) what would be a good build for teaming with a fishymancer? We will more than likely be PvE/PvM and MF on the chars

I'd say a pure light sorc because you can have the high light damage and not worry about immunes because your friend can kill light immunes.

Cold could be a problem with shattering because you can't corpse explode or raise a monster that has shattered.

My friend and I have had tremendous success with me playing a Fishymancer and him playing a Meteorb. Even though Lower Resist will be your most used curse while partying with a sorc, do NOT put more than 1 point in it. I did on my first Fishy build and regretted it once I got a good number of +skills.

I think it doesn't really matter. Since CE is mainly Fire dmg and Cold dmg might scatter corpses, lightning seems the right element to go with. No need to go dual-elemental; just go for the maximum dmg. That will be lightning / chain lightning.

cold will shatter corpses

fire has too many immunities

light has less immunities and the most breakable immunities, also lower resist will help against resist/light enchanted bosses

--> go with light

I know thatbthere's a lot of fire immunes, but what about an Enchantress? Will Enchant help the skllies? If so, I'd imagine the damage each skeleton could do could potentially be huge.

I'd go with a Fire sorc to be honest, I like fireball as a spell more than Lightning. Enchant would just be icing on the cake.

Immunities wouldn't really matter, as almost nothing will be immune to his skeletons considering amp.

Yeah, that's a cool idea. Enchantress and a summonancer, that'd be a good combo

I'd say pure CL sorc...you can get really massive damage with synergies if you have LR to count on to break immunes. Plus, the skellies will help keep enemies spread apart rather than having them all clump in on you or your merc, so your CL will be maximized since the enemies will stay more than 4 frames apart.

You could always just go 1 pt in Enchant too...with a twinked gear build, it'll still give the skellies good AR and a little fire damage.

Enchant Sorc with maxed Static would make a great skeleton support character.

As I already wrote, anything would work. Maybe you can combine Enchant with Static and Thunderstorm or something. And Fire Wall.
