Best rune find?

Ha, so after about 3 years of playing diablo(started back when it came out, took a break, got back another break, and now im back) i finally got my first legit hr drop from monsters. Yesterday, while doing a hell cow run with my new hdin for the first time, an ohm rune dropped. I was pretty surprised that a hr dropped... So, to get to the point, whats your best higher rune or rune that you got of monsters?

For me the highest ever was a Ber rune from a maosoleum run I did in a 3 player game. Was on the first ladder session.
Shortly after I found the rune I did hellforge rushing like crazy to get an Ist and eventually ended up making my only sofar high lvl rune word, a Chains of honour in a 15ed sacred armor for a conc barb I had.
After that drop highest have been Mal. I have never traded in runes because im paranoid of being 100% legit so will probably never get another runeword liek thatbut one can always hope Running the pit now currently liek crazy in single player, zod drop please. :laugh:

My friends and I got a Jah earlier this season from Baal's minions (might've been the fourth wave). I've been holding onto it ever since in the hopes of finding an Ohm or Ber to make a legit 'Faith' or 'Enigma'.

I have played for years, and Pul (has happened twice) is still the highest non-HF rune I have seen.

Highest is ber. Been around when 2 other bers dropped and when one vex dropped. 2 guls also.

my best drop, mal on cow level (sp), and my brother get vex.
and when i see on trade forum offers in hundreds of hrs i wanna quit...
but i hold blizzard responisable for that: first allowing dupers such things and second making this runes so rare (instead of hr drop u should play lottery that day)

They dont "allow" dupers. They just cant do anything about it.
But i agree. A small twink in hr drops would be good in my opinion.

My highest have been 2*Vex runes (on this ladder). Also found Um & Ist on my way to countes..:laugh:

"Can't" is a bit presumptuous, don't you think? They used to do something about it. I wouldn't exactly say it's merely a coincidence that as the game has gotten older they've done less and less about it.

Yea, they can buy new, faster, better, more shiny servers. As that is what the whole dupe thingy is, crashing the servers. Atleast last time i checked... But lets face it. They wont do it. If they do, ill eat my hat.

Whilst countess running for keys she dropped a Mal!
Havent ever seen a HR drop..Not even a sniff

I got a Lo about 3 weeks after the season started, I made a Fort in the first 4 socket light armor I found. My heart skipped a beat when I saw it, I took a pic with my cell phone cause at that time I didn't know about screen shot, lol. I've also found a 2 Vex's and an Ohm in my Diablo career.

Best one I received was an IST from Hell forge; yesterday today to be exact. Should have taken a screenshot. Then In a Hell Chaos game right afterwards, found a set of IK armor, not a bad day for me to say the least.

I average about 1gul/6ists per season.

Now for a back in 1.09 story. I had 2 surs drop with in a week! The cruel irony was that there was like one? maybe no? rune words they could be used in, they were high level junk!:laugh:
I put one sur in a bow, the chance to blind was pathetic, but it did give give me a taste for it and I wanted to make a 'silence' bow. I had everything in short time except the vex. It cost me the sur, an ist and a mal to get a vex from a player that was trying to get a complete rune collection. (no cubing or dupe runes back then)

Over the course of LoD, most important lesson I learned (aside from needing a life): If you ever have a self-found Ohm _AND_ Jah, don't you DARE Faith a GMB. Hello lvl.12 Fanaticism that destroys my build. But can't reroll the bow cause it's fully legit. Can't even Merc it to another character either.

@draffut: lvl 12 will be suffiecent for a strafer, you'll only need 40 ias, and for the higher lvl auras you need 35, so the difference aint that big :azn:

Kijya: It was for a PvP bowazon. lvl.12 Fana meant there was no way I could use Fortitude, hit 7fpa, AND have Knockback. Or use my rare boots :sad:
