My pick is Dan Marino. He had two good receivers to throw to, but no superstars. Tell me how good his defense was. What running backs did he have to take pressure off the passing game? He is hands down the most accurate quarterback in the history of the NFL. I'll admit that he doesn't have the rings, but there is a lot more to football than just having the hall of fame quarterback to carry you along. The way Manning runs a game like an offensive coordinator that also gets to takes snaps, he could easily be my choice in another 5 years or so. I just don't like over-billing players that are actually still playing in the prime of their careers. My FAVORITE quarterback over the last 20 years though, hands down, is Brett Favre. He's just the ballsiest ****ing quarterback to play the game, or at least the ballsiest one that can actually back it up. Aside from his crazy good QB talents, he will HEADBUTT LINEBACKERS, throw blocks on reverses, and mix it up with anyone who he feels deserves it. Brett Favre is the ****ing man.
