by pure cold they mean use of blizzard? also by blocking you mean with shields right? or cold shield spells?

I play ladder so I counter out the Valk hehe.

As for the ammy, crafted ammy's can have up to 20FCR. 1-10% from the crafting, and they can also roll a "Apprentice" suffix to add another to. That is what dreams are made of...

Although, making a 200FCR sorc is a sacrifice, unless you have very nice lucky gear, such as a nice ammy like this one!

Or, you could try to gamle/craft a amu like that on your own. But it isn't easy, trust me, I've been trying for some time :grrr:
