it depends on what pvp char we are talking about.
If you go pure physical bow, then faith gmb is the most popular. faith mat offers more flexibility, though lacks damage.
On the other hand, a poison javalin based build might consider using harmony or cta.
And if you really want to nitpick, lld and mld's won't use faith either.
So no, faith isn't the only option, though it certainly is a great choise.

i've still yet to make a HLD bowa, but i've always liked the faith mat bow option since you can go with less ias and it leaves your gear more flexible.
