    Best PvM and MF'er Build?

    Hi,

I'm going to build an Assassin that I want to be good enough to handle most monsters but I would also like her to be a pretty decent MF'er. So some points are going to be required for BoS probably.

So, what builds would you guys recommend?

    Thanks.

I made a pure kicker / dragon talon hybrid earlier this year.

She had Bartuc's cut throat, some rare feral claws, Natalya's totem, and Natalya's armour. I jammed 3 perfect topazes into the armour, and 1 into the helm, and she turned out some pretty good finds.

With a bit of crushing blow, (the % on Gore Riders was enough), and a might merc, she handled most things pretty well.

Good to see some people commenting on PvM stuff too. If you need a build guide, the PvM tiger strike / dragon tail build works well according to many (never tried it myself though), and a Phoenix striker (done well) is awesome fun, and works well at the MF business too.

A trapper with an Infinity merc also works.

This is how I build a PVM sentry/fireblast trapper. She can solo anywheres in hell in crap gear (like topazed armor and helm) though lightning immunes do slow her down some.

fireblast 20 (This is your lightning immune killer)
web 18 only (only this much benefits your bolt sentry)
    bolt sentry 20 (boss killer)
    light sent 20
death sent 1+ (everything after the above and one point wonders)

    1 point wonders:
    Claw Mastery
    Psychic Hammer
    Burst of Speed
    Weapon Block
Cloak of Shadows (this is great!)
    Fade
    Shadow Warrior
    Mind Blast (this is great!)
Shadow Master (one point with moderate skills (mostly shoped) gets the job done)

I reccomend a normal defiance merc for tankage.

For an excellent guide on building and playing a trapper by jrichard see:

I, too have just made a PvM trapper. This is helpful information! Would it be better to dump points into Fire Blast sooner than later? At least until you get to lvl 12, or 18?

Forgot to mention that this will be in HC Ladder. How do Trapsins fare in HC?

I'm thinking about building one like the one in JRichards guide.

    Thanks.

HC you just sacrifice some MF for survivability.
i have currently made a safety trapper, not died yet, only lvl 91 though.
Skills: as someone allready said above.
lightning sentry/death sentry +synergies with fireblast
    shadow master 1 point
    Equipp:
    Shako (Ias/resist juwel) 50MF
    Maras
    Hoto
    Storm (Um)
    Guardian angel (Um)
    Raven frost
    Dwarfstar
    Thundergods
    Chance guards 40MF
    War traveler 50MF
    Anni
    Torch
    Gheeds 40MF

    180 total MF
    90-95 allres and absorb
    Max block and damage reduce
equipp merc with infinity for even more killing power!

    Definatly a hardcore build!

Read the guid I quoted linked to above and it gives the recommended order of putting points into skills.

However, I only put a few points into fireblast early because thats all I could afford mana wise. You will have to throw your fire bombs and melee early on due to mana constraints.

Use your charged bolt sentry when you get it. It will do wonders for you in the earlu going.

Again, check out that guide if you haven't already.
